Brent has been president and/or board member of a number of non-profit and business organizations over the years and is a regular contributor of time and funds to a number of philanthropies in our area.  His prior 28 year experience in the securities industry was with a single large Wall Street firm where he concentrated primarily on family and small-business financial needs.

A few years ago, he took up marathon running, which he has used as a means of raising several thousand dollars used to aid the fight against the ravages of leukemia.

John Noble

John Noble

Managing Director

John Noble was born in Santa Barbara, California and, after college, began his professional career in 1981 in the financial services industry. After a successful beginning as an advisor, John became, in 1983 a young manager for one of the country's best-known and highly respected large-brokerage firms. He was soon transferred to Portland and began what has become a lifetime commitment to the professional development of people in our industry and to the ethical evolution of the industry itself.

John is a Registered Principal and has served as Chairman of the Securities Industry Regulatory Council on Continuing Education for the New York Stock Exchange (2002). He was also instrumental in establishing the first Portland Metro program for the National Academy of Finance, which partners with public high schools by providing an investment and financial planning curriculum for students.

Increasingly, John came to recognize a need for independent thinking and action that could only happen away from the large-firm "herd-think". And, in 2008 he was recruited to rebuild a small, local 80-year old full-service brokerage firm, and following that success has been instrumental in the development of TenBridge Partners. His strong relationships in the community---both professionally and with ongoing social commitments---are firm and long-standing.

On a personal note, John enjoys those never-ending projects in his wood working shop, time photographing images from the great outdoors, fly fishing and traveling with his wife, Anna. Together, they share a passion for cooking combining their interest in food and wine. And, he's even becoming known as something of a "soccer-dad".

Skip Currier

Skip Currier, CFPRegistered Trademark, ChFCRegistered Trademark

Executive Vice President

Skip was born in El Paso, Texas and moved to Portland 15 years ago, by way of his early life in Maine, where he received a degree in electrical design and construction from Coyne College. His dad was career Air Force and his mother a bomber pilot in WW II.

Skip has been a financial advisor for over 20 years, the last eight of which have been with a large Wall Street firm. Since 2004, he has been both a Chartered Financial Consultant and Certified Financial Planner™ and serves a varied client base, both locally and in several other parts of the country.

Away from his professional life, Skip's commitments to the community are as varied as his earlier places of residence---he serves on the Advisory Board for the Center of Regenerative Medicine at OHSU and as Vice President of the Oregon Whitewater Association.

Perhaps it's not surprising that after starting life in the Texas desert, moving around as a military kid, spending years in the "lobster state" and finally reaching the wet end of the country, Skip has settled in to a "time away" life of cooking, fly fishing and running the whitewater of the Pacific NW.

Heroes and People Who Inspire Me: It's easy to allow doubts to creep into our daily lives when the naysayers take charge, but I prefer the ways of my guides.

My dad - the sole bread winner in our family of 5 kids. He seemingly did not know fatigue or the inability to do whatever needed doing, even as he milked a cow or did any of the menial things around a small acreage before heading off to his regular job. I remember no whining words from him, but only encouragement for all of us and the sense that the world was a good place to be.

Al Gordon - the chairman of my first employer in the securities industry. Mr. Gordon was one of the small group of New Yorkers credited with saving that city from bankruptcy in the '50's. He was a strong, thinking-man who took up endurance running at 80 and ran the London Marathon at 83. He passed away a couple of years ago at the age of 108 while in regular attendance at his office.
